Journalists worldwide who have reported on the human rights and religious freedom issues in India can compete for an award.

Entries are being accepted for the Human Rights & Religious Freedom Journalism Awards, sponsored by the Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC). The awards recognize courageous, groundbreaking, and in-depth reporting on pressing issues concerning Indian minorities and marginalized communities

Winners in each category will receive INR50,000 (US$583) and a plaque.

Reports published between June 30, 2024 and June 30, 2025 are eligible for submission.

This year's winners will be honored at a ceremony in Chicago, Illinois, in August.
