Journalism students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the U.S. can apply to participate in a workshop.
Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), in partnership with the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting, is hosting the HBCU Investigative Journalism Workshop Fellowship.
Students will learn a variety of investigative skills including techniques to conduct investigative interviews, how to access public information, and tapping into the power of data and AI.
The day-and-a-half training workshop will be held in Atlanta, GA, Sept. 5 to 6.
Participants will receive complimentary IRE membership/renewal, complimentary registration and a travel stipend.
The deadline is Aug. 25.
