Health reporters and documentary filmmakers are eligible for funding.
The NIHCM Foundation will award grants to projects that support the health of Americans. This may include funding to support health reporting, educational opportunities for health care reporters or public engagement for documentary films.
Staff journalists and freelancers from print, broadcast and digital are invited to submit a proposal. Winners will be notified in the fall.
Proposals will be judged based on significance, timeliness, impact, dissemination plans and more.
The deadline to submit a proposal is July 12.
