Journalists of any nationality who work or contribute with Latin American outlets can apply.
The initiative seeks to promote investigative projects in any format aimed at covering responses to COVID-19.
Up to nine scholarships of US$800 will be awarded, which may be used to cover reporting expenses, security, fees and/or elements that improve the quality of the proposed project
Proposals must address one of the following topics: science and health, public policies and governance, and community life and social cohesion.
The deadline is April 28.
