Palestinian media organizations can apply for these grants.
The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is offering a fund totaling almost US$1 million to support Palestinian media and sustain public interest journalism through grants.
Grants for national media will be in the range of US$50,000 to US$75,000 and they will be capped at US$40,000 for local outlets.
They will be awarded to help pay the salaries of journalists, and sustain and promote the production of public interest reporting.
Applicants must be registered media organizations operating in Palestine, and should demonstrate a strong commitment to producing original content.
The deadline for applications is Sep 5.
