Freelance journalists residing in Mexico can apply for a reporting grant.
Quinto Elemento Lab has launched its fifth grant program for investigative journalism projects.
Interested candidates may submit individual or group proposals. Preference will be given to projects that address issues of corruption, human rights, education, health, environment and armed forces in Mexico, as well as those focusing on government areas and the corporate world.
Selected projects will receive financial and editorial support.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
