Journalism professionals and students can apply for a reporting grant.

Agência Pública, a nonprofit investigative journalism agency, in partnership with Instituto Brasileiro de Defesa do Consumidor (Idec), is offering grants for stories that investigate inequalities in internet access.

The contest seeks pitches for original and unpublished investigative reports in text, photo, video or infographics.

Four projects will be selected to receive BRL7,000 and mentorship from the agency. The stories will be published on the Agência Pública's website.

The deadline is Feb. 5.
