Journalists in the Caribbean with at least one year of journalistic and/or content creation experience can apply for grants.
Climate Tracker, in partnership with Open Society Foundations, is offering the Caribbean Community Climate Resource Grant. This opportunity aims to incentivize journalists in the Caribbean to create climate resources/tools for other journalists, community organizations and communicators across the region.
The grants will facilitate individual research on topics that are often considered difficult or too niche to cover and the resource created could be in the form of video, guide, handbook, research paper, or detailed story that everyone in the Caribbean could benefit from.
Grantees will receive a US$200 grant, one-on-one mentoring and guidance, global exposure of their profile and the resource/tool they create, and more.
The deadline is May 31.
