Journalists in Cambodia can apply for grants to report on issues concerning rainforests in Cambodia.

The Pulitzer Center, through the Southeast Asia Rainforest Journalism Fund (RJF), is accepting applications for story grants ranging from US$2,000 to US$7,000. Proposals that seek to spark conversation and raise awareness about issues such as forest management and governance, deforestation, forest degradation, and biodiversity conservation in Cambodia are welcome to submit.

Stories should highlight local voices, utilize innovative reporting techniques and have a strong distribution plan in influential local and/or regional news media.

While applications should be submitted in English, reporting can be done in English or Khmer. Collaborations that can reach a broad domestic and/or international audience will be given priority.
