Journalists from Nairobi, Kenya are eligible for reporting grants.
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is offering story grants to report on air pollution in Nairobi.
Journalists are encouraged to examine the key sources of air pollution in Nairobi and its impacts on the local environment, economy and health, among other topics. EJN is interested in story ideas that look into the impact of air pollution on different gender groups and vulnerable communities.
Only journalists from Nairobi who participated in the Clean Air Catalyst media training workshop in May can apply.
Seven US$1,000 grants will be awarded.
The deadline is June 30.
