Experienced and early-career journalists from India can apply for grants to report on air pollution.
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is offering the Clean Air Catalyst story grants to assist journalists interested in reporting on air pollution in Madhya Pradesh.
EJN is interested in story ideas that focus on air pollution, especially in Indore and surrounding areas and the threats it poses to local populations. Journalists may explore the impacts of air pollution on local environment, the economy, health and development, among other topics.
Preference will be given to applicants from Madhya Pradesh.
Up to 14 grants with an average budget of US$1,000 each will be awarded.
The deadline is July 5.
