Early-career and established science journalists in Australia can apply for this grant.
The Science Journalists Association of Australia (SJAA) is launching a grants program to support its members to realize a science reporting project in print, online, audio or visual, or for professional development.
With the support of Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas, the program is offering six reporting or professional development grants worth US$1,500 each.
Interested applicants must be current members of SJAA (full, associate or student). Proposed projects will be judged for their journalistic merit, potential impact, need and viability.
Apply by May 30.
