Documentary film, television, radio and podcast projects that aim to engage general audiences with humanities ideas in creative and appealing ways are eligible for a grant.
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is seeking proposals for programs grounded in humanities scholarship in disciplines such as history, art history, film studies, literature, religious studies, philosophy or anthropology.
NEH encourages projects in multiple formats that demonstrate the potential to attract a broad general audience.
Grant amounts range from US$40,000 to US$75,000.
The deadline to submit proposals is Aug. 14.
