Media organizations, nonprofits and others can apply for a grant.
The European Commission is accepting proposals for Media Literacy for All 2020.
The initiative seeks to foster the development of educational materials and/or services to combat disinformation, as well as to design methods to raise awareness about the techniques commonly used by malicious actors in order to create, distribute and amplify disinformation over the internet.
Possible projects include tools, services or campaigns with clearly defined objectives to advance/target specific areas/goals within the field of media literacy.
Eligible organizations must be established in EU Member States.
The total budget available is EUR500,000. The Commission expects to fund two to five projects.
The deadline is Sept. 30.
