Journalists and filmmakers from Kenya and Nigeria can participate in a hybrid workshop.
One World Media is accepting applications for the Global Short Docs Forum: Health Solutions 2024. The program aims to bring journalists and filmmakers together to exchange skills and to experiment with visual storytelling techniques that explore health issues impacting Kenya and Nigeria.
In the first stage of the program, 12 journalists and filmmakers will participate in a series of workshops. For the second phase, participants with the best ideas will receive a production grant of US$7,000 to deliver their stories and will be supported by mentors and editors.
The final productions will be screened at local events and be made available online.
The deadline is June 17.
