GIJN hosts free webinars on US elections [Worldwide]

The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) is airing the webinar "The U.S. election: what’s at stake" at 9 a.m. EDT Oct. 1 and "The U.S. election: digging into disinformation" at 9 a.m. EDT on Oct. 8.

The Oct. 1 webinar features David Cay Johnston, an investigative journalist and founder of DCReport.org, Sarah Blaskeyan investigative reporter and data specialist at the Miami Herald, and Kat Stafford, the national race and ethnicity writer at The Associated Press.

The panelists will share how they are digging into American politics to find out what’s at stake and what journalists need to investigate.

The program includes Spanish and Arabic interpretation.
