Local newsrooms in Northern and Central Western Brazil can apply for this program.
The journalism lab Énois is offering grants and training for local newsrooms to foster diversity in Brazilian journalism. Ten news organizations will be granted BRL6,000 - business and strategic training, and an additional BRL8,000 for hiring reporters to cover the elections later this year.
Eligible organizations must be operating for at least two years, have at least two members on their team, as well as having a diverse team and leadership.
The application deadline is June 26.
