News outlets, staff journalists and freelancers in Europe interested in pursuing investigative stories can apply for this grant.
The Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU) opened its call for cross-border investigations in the European Union.
The Investigation Support Scheme will award up to EUR50,000 for investigative projects that involve at least one news outlet or a team of journalists.
To be considered, teams must include members from at least two EU member states or or at least one EU member state and one official EU candidate country. Teams working in all types of media will be considered and story pitches must be on a topic of cross-border relevance.
The deadline is March 31.
