Journalists, activists and community leaders whose work has a focus on gender issues can enroll in this free online workshop.
Data agency Fiquem Sabendo, in partnership with Themis - Gender, Justice and Human Rights, is hosting the workshop “Access to Information, Gender and Human Rights.” The workshop will be held on July 8.
The workshop will help activists, community leaders and journalists enhance their work through the use of the Access to Information Act to access public records. Participants will be presented with hands-on examples and reports, publications and studies produced with the help of public records related to gender and human rights.
The training is part of the WikiLAI project, which is supported by the U.S. Embassy in Brazil.
Registration is ongoing.
