Journalists wishing to develop their online investigative skills can sign up for this training.
AFP, with the support of the Google News Initiative, has launched a free online course for journalists and journalism students, in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
The training is divided into modules for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels. Through videos, exercises, and tests, participants will learn how to conduct more effective searches on the Internet, protect themselves in the digital environment, identify relevant clues in images and social media posts, geolocate, and much more.
