Journalists, video bloggers and YouTubers can apply.
Internews is hosting a free online training on the basics of YouTube journalism which will be held from Oct. 20 to Nov. 1, 2021.
Training topics include genres and formats of video content, how to develop a channel's concept, copyright, channel strategy, optimization and promotion, and monetization. The program does not include training in video production.
The course includes both theoretical and practical sessions and will be conducted in Russian and Uzbek languages.
The trainer is Sungat Utebulatov, a YouTube certified specialist in Central Asia and the founder of YouTube Blogging Academy in Kazakhstan.
The deadline is Oct. 14.
