Journalists working at local or regional media organizations of any size in Brazil can apply for a free consultancy on the Access to Information Act.
The Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism and Transparência Brasil are providing free consultancy for a journalist working on a story that uses data obtained via the Access to Information Act. Journalists can submit a new reporting project or an ongoing one.
The initiative will select a single reporting project to get a three-month consultancy that will provide assistance for submitting access to information requests and handling the data collected.
The application deadline is June 7.
