Data storytellers from Europe and Asia can apply for this contest.
ForSet is organizing the Eurasian Data Stories Contest for journalists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The organizers are looking for stories based on reliable data about issues of public importance.
The materials can be in different formats (articles, videos, infographics, etc.) and must be in English and created specifically for this contest.
The first place winner will be awarded a EUR1,000 cash prize. The ForSet’s pick winner will receive a paid trip to DataFest Tbilisi 2019.
The deadline is Feb. 18.
