Qatari directors and writers can submit their projects for up to US$50,000 in funding.
The Doha Film Institute (DFI) is accepting submissions for the Qatari Film Fund, which supports the skills and accomplishments of Qatari filmmakers.
The fund is committed to the development of up to four feature films, and the development, production and post-production of up to eight short films annually.
Documentary films of up 30 minutes in duration are accepted in the short film funding category.
The application deadline is Sep. 1.
