Filmmakers from all over the world can participate in this festival.
The One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is organized by People in Need, a Czech nonprofit organization. The event will take place March 5 to 14, 2020 in Prague.
There are seven categories: international competition, best director, Vaclav Havel jury award for a film that makes an exceptional contribution to the defense of human rights, Czech competition, audience award, student jury award, and a regional jury award. Films produced in 2018 and 2019 are accepted.
Films made in other languages than English should include English subtitles.
The entry fee is EUR20 (US$22).
The deadline is Sept. 1. The deadline for films that were finished between September and November 2019 is Nov. 1.
