Documentarians working on a project can apply for funding.
The Andrew Berends Film Fellowship aims to support emerging filmmakers with a focus on sharing unheard stories, in memory of the late filmmaker.
The fellowship will provide US$5,000 for filmmaking expenses, mentorship, a ScreeningRoom Pro account, networking opportunities and more.
Applicants must either have completed at least one feature documentary project previously; completed at least one published documentary photography project; worked as the lead editor, producer or cinematographer on a feature documentary project; or completed a trailer or sample of the current project.
The deadline is Dec. 1.
