Journalists from low- and middle-income countries, which bear the brunt of climate impacts, can apply for a travel fellowship.
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is accepting applications for fellowships to cover the Seventh Global Environmental Facility (GEF) Assembly in Vancouver, Canada, Aug. 22 to 26.
The fellowship will strengthen journalists’ capacity to cover real-time changes to global environmental and climate financing instruments and their implications.
Eight journalists will be selected for the fellowship. Throughout the program, journalists may produce stories in print, online, radio or broadcast formats.
EJN will cover airfare, accommodation, meals, travel insurance, and transportation costs for selected fellows.
The deadline is June 12.
