Mid-career arts journalists from Southeast Asia can apply for this remote and paid fellowship.

ArtsEquator invites applications from Southeast Asia for the ArtsEquator Fellowship. This is the second cycle of the program, which focuses on theatre, dance and film in Southeast Asia.

Not more than seven fellows will be selected for this cycle. Fellows will work on five reviews that can be delivered in writing, video or podcast format, and one in-depth essay. These reviews should offer insights into what is happening in the arts in their respective countries.

This fellowship is conducted remotely and does not require any travel. Each fellow will be given a stipend totaling SGD5,000 (US$3,695) for the fellowship period from July 1 to Dec. 31.

Interested applicants should propose a provisionary list of the six topics/events/performances/videos/films they intend to cover during the fellowship period, and indicate where they are planning to publish/distribute the content.

Apply by April 21.
