Experts from journalism, the public sector, think tanks, nonprofits, law, and cultural organizations in the U.S. and Germany can apply for a fellowship.

The McCloy Fellowships on Global Trends from the American Council on Germany offer funding and support for participants to research the most pressing topics on the transatlantic agenda.

Applicants in Germany and the U.S. should submit proposals for projects that explore urbanization, climate change and sustainability, technological breakthroughs, public health, financial concerns, as well as equity and social justice.

Selected participants will receive US$7,000 to support transatlantic airfare and domestic travel, as well as room and board, for a minimum of 21 days.

Upon returning to their home country, participants must submit a report on their findings for publication by ACG.

The deadline is June 1.
