Journalists and journalism students anywhere in Brazil can register for this free online course.
The Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism is accepting registrations open for its new course on fact-checking and verification for the local elections taking place later this year across the country.
The course will prepare participants to counter disinformation in local elections with a special focus on AI generated content and deep fakes. Classes will be asynchronous with videos available from May 13 to May 25.
There will be 10 sessions in total, with experienced instructors from Brazil and the USA.
The registration deadline is May 8.
