Journalists from the Western Balkans and Türkiye can submit their investigative stories and compete for cash prizes.
Thomson Media is organizing the EU Investigative Journalism Award. This prestigious award is part of the project “Strengthening Quality Journalism in Western Balkans and Türkiye II.”
Stories submitted should contribute to transparency, accountability and the public interest. They should cover a variety of topics such as corruption, organized crime, extremism, foreign influence, human rights violations (including digital rights), and other issues vital to national and regional discourse.
Investigative stories published in 2024 are eligible for submission.
The best national and regional stories will be awarded. The first, second and third place winners will receive EUR5,000, EUR3,000 and EUR2,000, respectively.
The deadline is June 16.
