Journalism students and journalists from the Commonwealth Caribbean are eligible for educational grants.
The Errol and Nita Barrow Educational Trust is accepting applications for awards. The awards are enabling grants to pursue a post graduate course of study for which the applicant has a provisional acceptance in any subject relevant to the development needs of Barbados and/or the Caribbean.
The value of the award is fixed by the trustees in each case, having regard to the needs and resources of the candidate and the cost of fees, maintenance, books, insurance, travel and other expenses incurred in pursuing the course of study.
Preferential consideration will be given to applicants who will be completing their course of study during the 2022 to 2023 academic year.
Applicants must be between the ages of 22 to 45.
The application deadline is July 3.
