Established and emerging environmental photographers around the world can apply for this grant.
Vital Impacts, a women-lead 501(c)3 non-profit focused on harnessing the power of art and storytelling, is offering the Vital Impacts Environmental Photography Grants.
The grants will fund documentary projects that spotlight solutions-based environmental narratives. They are particularly interested in projects about the Pacific Northwest and the Amazon rainforest.
One established photographer will receive a US$20,000 grant and five emerging photographers will receive a US$5,000 grant each to develop their projects. Another 10 emerging photographers will be selected to participate in an intensive mentorship program.
The application deadline is Sept. 15.
