Journalists can apply for these grants.
Jeduca, the Brazilian association of education journalists, has grants for reporting on the public school system in Brazil.
Journalists can apply for eight grants worth BRL10,000 each to work on a story or on a reporting series.
For this year's grant, special consideration will be given to proposals focusing on the impacts of the Rio Grande do Sul floods in the state's education system. Four out of the eight grants will be given to journalists working at news organizations across Rio Grande do Sul.
The application deadline is July 20.
