DW Akademie, a leading organization for international media development in Germany, is seeking applications for a consultant with extensive experience in the Syrian media landscape and civil society. This position is part of the initiative “Change the playing field - Resilient against disinformation,” in cooperation with GIZ.
Applicants will be responsible for researching digital security, working conditions for media workers and local conditions such as infrastructure (internet, power supply and telecommunication for working and online training). They will also investigate existing or possible collaborations between media and civil organizations.
Candidates must be proficient in Arabic and English language, possess skills in Office applications and presentation skills, and have in-depth knowledge of Syria's media sector and civil society.
