Documentary filmmakers worldwide who focus on human rights can submit their work to this contest.
The Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, organized by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, will take place March 25-April 3 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Categories include docu/world (the international competition of feature and medium-length documentaries longer than 30 minutes), docu/short (films up to 30 minutes long) and docu/Ukraine (documentaries created by Ukrainian directors). The winners in these categories will receive cash prizes of US$1,000.
There is also the Rights Now Award, which will receive US$1,000.
Films must have been produced from 2020-2022 to be considered.
The early deadline is September 3 and the first regular deadline is November 19. The final deadline for all entries is December 1.
