Journalists of color can apply for this program.
The Maynard Institute, in partnership with Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, are organizing the Maynard 200 Journalism Fellowship.
The program will offer training in three tracks: storytelling, advanced leadership and media entrepreneurship.
Participants will attend workshops June 28 to July 2 and Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 at the Northwestern Medill campus San Francisco, followed by yearlong mentorship and supplementary courses.
While the majority of the slots are intended for candidates from the Bay area, selected candidates from out of town will receive flights and lodging. Both national and local participants will receive a small stipend.
The deadline is March 30.
