Data organization Escola de Dados, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) and Tactical Tech, is offering an online course on digital investigations.
The training seeks to equip journalists and activists with the skills needed to use open source intelligence for investigations.
Classes will be live and online, June 7 to 28, and will address topics such as advanced search, public data for investigating corporations and individuals, visual and metadata investigations, and disinformation networks mapping.
There are 50 places available. The registration fee is BRL299 (US$60). Abraji and Escola de Dados members have a 20 percent discount.
