Deadline extended: Lincoln Institute of Land Policy Journalism Award [Latin America]

The competition is open to journalists or journalism teams from Latin America.

The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy announces the Lincoln Prize for Journalism on Urban Policy, Sustainable Development and Climate Change. Its aim is to stimulate research and reporting on issues related to land policy and sustainable urban development.

Entries must have been published or broadcast between Jan. 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023 and should address topics related to climate-resilient and low-CO2 regions, efficient and equitable fiscal systems, less poverty and spatial inequality, among others.

The first prize winner will receive US$3,000. The second and third prize winners will receive US$2,000 and US$1,000, respectively.

The deadline is Sept. 17.
