Zimbabwean and Ugandan journalists who are fluent in English and have at least two years of experience can apply for the Wealth of Nations - Illicit finance (NORAD) program.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation is looking for journalists to take part in a long-term scheme that will develop their ability to report on illicit financial flows.
Selected journalists will participate in intensive training covering illicit finance, reporting on companies, accounts and budgets and investigative techniques.
The next workshops will take place March 19 to 21 and April 23 to 25 in Harare, Zimbabwe and March 30 to April 2 and May 6 to 8 in Kampala, Uganda.
Participants will propose one or more story ideas and receive modest funding to realize their stories. The organization also covers accommodation, local transfers and meals relating to the training.
The deadline is Feb. 19
