Journalists and authors who have published books and manuscript-length non-fiction reporting projects in English about Latin America are eligible for this prize.
The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) invites submissions for 2022 AEJMC-Knudson Latin America Prize.
Submitted works must make an original contribution to improve knowledge about Latin America to U.S. students, journalists or the public.
The work must have been published in English in 2021. Topics are open, but preference will be given to works on civic issues or topics that promote social change and break new ground.
The deadline is Dec. 31.
