Russian-speaking journalists, including freelancers, working in Russia, Eastern Europe, Baltic States, Caucasus and Central Asia with three to 17 years of experience can apply for this program.
"Perspectives," a joint initiative of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the Fritt Ord Foundation and the Thomson Reuters Foundation, hosts the cross-border journalism project "Central Asia-mix."
This program includes workshops and fieldwork during which journalists will work in teams, developing cross-border projects. Participants may also undertake short research trips in Central Asia for a better understanding of issues in the region.
The selected candidates will receive funding and distance mentoring, in addition to participating in seminars.
The language of the program is Russian.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
