Course teaches skills for climate crisis reporting [Latin America, Spain]

The Thomson Foundation, in collaboration with Periodistas por el Planeta and Blue Foresta, among other organizations, launches the training "Environmental Journalism: Why Local Matters."

The course is designed to provide journalists with skills to investigate local environmental stories and recognize if they are linked to climate change. Participants will understand the importance of data journalism in climate coverage, and will be guided through the fine line between environmental journalism and environmental activism.

Registration is open. The course is self-directed and participants can complete it at their own pace.
