The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, in partnership with News Product Alliance, with support from Google News Initiative, is offering the course, "Product strategies for journalism: How to align editorial, audience, business and technology."
During the four-week course, students will learn the necessary tools and concepts to create and maintain sustainable information products that generate value for the end user and for the organization, whether for existing initiatives or for new ideas.
Students will also understand that developing their vision and product strategy is as important as communicating both concepts to their newsrooms.
The course runs Aug. 23 - Sept. 19.
