Journalists living in Mexico can submit their work to a contest.
The Walter Reuter Journalism Prize honors journalists who publish their work in the Mexican media. This year's competition theme is 'Democracy: Beyond Elections', which seeks to address the transformation processes that democratic societies are currently undergoing, with a special emphasis on Mexico.
Works must have been published or broadcast between July 31, 2023 and July 31, 2024.
The first place winner will receive a trip to Germany and MXN40,000 (US$2,400), plus a 10-week German course. The second and third place winners will receive MXN20,000 (US$1,200) and MXN10,000 (US$600), respectively.
The deadline is Aug. 1.
