Journalism students in Brazil can enter this contest.
The 16th Fernando Pacheco Jordão Prize for Young Journalists is seeking story pitches that shed light on the diversity amongst Brazilian population based on the most recent census data.
Participants should form groups with up to three students and a teacher to submit their pitches. Stories must be developed in video format.
A total of three groups will be selected by the judges. They will get a small grant to develop the stories and will be mentored by renowned journalists.
The application deadline is July 10.
