Amateur and professional photographers are invited to enter this contest.
Survival's 2019 Photographic Competition seeks photographs of tribal and indigenous peoples from around the world.
Images must capture human moments that express feelings or actions that everyone can relate to, breaking stereotypes of tribal people as “primitive” or “exotic.” Respect for tribal peoples while taking the pictures is paramount.
The 12 best photos will be part of Survival’s 2020 calendar, which raises funds for the organization’s campaigns. The overall winner will be featured on the calendar cover.
The deadline is May 31.
