Contest for independent regional publications [Central Asia]

Independent news outlets, production studios and NGOs registered in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are invited to participate in this contest.

The "Resilience and Engagement with Varied Information for a Vibrant Environment" (REVIVE) project, funded by the European Union, in collaboration with Internews, is launching a journalistic content contest. The project aims to improve access to quality information for audiences in the Central Asian region.

Selected projects will receive grants of up to EUR30,000 (US$29,367). Grants can be used to pay salaries, finance business trips, buy software and other expenses.

Applicants are required to submit an application form with a content and distribution plan, as well as a detailed budget of the project.
