Contest highlights transnational investigative journalism [Latin America]

Posted on Sep 10, 2019 in Investigative Journalism

Teams with a minimum of two journalists residing in different Latin American countries can apply.

Instituto Prensa y Sociedad organizes a competition for transnational investigative journalism projects.

Applicants must submit a detailed transnational project, including its relevance and why it needs reporting in more than one country.

One representative of each of the four finalist proposals will travel to the Latin American Investigative Journalism Conference (COLPIN) on Nov. 7 to 10 in Mexico City and present the project in front of a jury.

Two winners will receive US$5,000 to fund fees, travel or other investigative needs.

The deadline is Sept. 30.
