Journalists who first published a story about modern slavery by a media organization in Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Bangladesh, India or Cambodia can apply.

The Thomson Reuters Foundation organizes the Stop Slavery Award, which recognizes companies that demonstrate integrity, courage and innovation in eradicating forced labor from their supply chain.

The contest has a media category, open to journalists who have produced a highly impactful story, raising awareness and informing society about modern slavery and human trafficking.

The winner will be invited to attend the award ceremony in March 2021 in London.

The deadline is Oct. 2.
